The firm is currently seeking a Business Strategy Consultant to support high-impact projects across emerging sectors, global markets, and innovation ecosystems. This role is designed for a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, experience in consulting or corporate strategy, and the ability to operate in dynamic, cross-functional environments.
The Business Strategy Consultant will play a key role in delivering insight-driven strategies for sovereign wealth funds, corporations, startups, and research institutions. From ecosystem design and commercialization roadmaps to market entry and investment strategy, the consultant will help shape solutions that drive measurable value.
Ideal candidates will have experience working across geographies and industries, demonstrate comfort with ambiguity, and bring both strategic rigor and operational fluency to their work. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support strategy engagements across sectors such as biotechnology, energy, infrastructure, national defense, and digital transformation
- Conduct structured research and financial modeling to generate actionable insights that inform client decisions
- Design frameworks for commercialization, market positioning, and investment readiness
- Engage stakeholders across public and private sectors, aligning business objectives with policy and economic development goals
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and cross-functional working sessions
- Prepare client-facing reports, investment decks, and strategic recommendations at board and executive levels
- Contribute to Avion’s internal knowledge development, business development initiatives, and sector-specific IP
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business, Public Policy, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent strongly preferred
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in consulting, corporate strategy, venture building, or economic development
- Strong grasp of innovation ecosystems, investment strategy, and commercialization models
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex environments
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Miro, Notion, and other strategic collaboration tools
- Familiarity with sovereign investment frameworks, public-private partnerships, or international development is a plus
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other certifications are advantageous
